With a deep passion for supporting children facing barriers to learning and development, she has dedicated her career to understanding and enhancing childhood development through movement. Her journey began with formal studies and has continued through numerous enriching courses and readings focused on brain and body development.
She earned her degree in Human Movement Science from the University of the Free State, South Africa, in 2005, followed by an Honours degree in Kinderkinetics from the University of the North West in 2006. Now a registered kinesiologist with the Alberta Kinesiology Association. Her ongoing professional development focuses on the critical role of movement in brain maturation and development.
